ID number = engine number on a T
But from Dec. 12 1925 frames were stamped with engine number at the Highland Park plant, beginning with #12 861 044. Other assembly plants followed later. '26 type cars had been produced since late july, so your car may not have frame number? Look for serial number over the water inlet on left hand side of engine. (engines were frequently changed in those days as well as now) Check for frame number on top of frame under the front floorboards, right hand side. Regards, Roger <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |

On the early 26 frames, without the flanged rear cross member, the serial number is located on the drivers side of the frame in the area of the brake quadrant. <table><tr><td><font face="arial"> |
