Re: Broken
Our Model A group says "if it ain't broke, fix it till it is broke." And we seem to do a lot of that.

Re: Broken
I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but, I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.

LOTS of FUN, when going through fast foods places, especially Colonel Sanders LITTLE kids loved it Even Old "KIDS"---Chief always said, "We are ALL little kids, in OLD SKINS" Bill Fun

Bill
Jerry and I are in the same club up here in Redding. Break downs earn you the rubber chicken. I'm the current recipient, due to a blown condenser. Although I have not taken ownership of it yet. Now mental break downs....

If you use a screwdriver on something that isn't a screw you will likely screw it up.

Re: Broken
And if the starter doesn't turn........twist the key harder.
This was in the ignition of the Honda lawn tractor I just got. Bending a steel key 45* takes a bit of force. |

Re: Broken
One of my mentor mechanics when I first got into cars used to constantly comment that 90% of all the fuel or carburetor issues he sees were ignition related, but I could never figure out how gas was pouring out of the coil... must have had a loose screw holding the wire
