Default model a 21" wheels

I have 5 model A wire wheels I am going to sell. How can i tell if they are worth selling when they have either a broken or bent spoke or if i see any cracks in the hub? Thanks

Make sure the potential buyer is aware of the flaws and take best offer. They have minimal value at best.

There are always plenty of people wanting to buy a decent Model A wheel, whether it be 21" or 19". 21" are by far the most common here but I am aware that prices over there are cheap compared to what we have to pay. Your wheels will find a home if they:
  • run true
  • no cracks in the centres
  • no or minimal bent spokes
  • bolt holes not flogged out
The more of those problems and the worse they are, the less desirable they will be, IMO

I found that ones not serviceable for the road still have some value as rock garden art, sign post bases, culvert doors to keep out critters, and anything else that might come to mind. I have sold some to crafters and garden centers for about $10 ea.

and you can attach them to a post and roll your garden hoses onto them.

Cracked wheels and old tires. Sell or donate to a local car museum or club. Antique shops may be interested
