A friend of mine seen a hubcap on the wall at a place he visited, and neither of us have seen such a beast before. It is a 39 style hubcap (stamped steel with the stainless center, for wide 5s), but says FORD and MERCURY, and both can be read at the same time (as opposed to lower one being upside down). Suspect it may be an advertising piece? anyone know? Thanks, sorry, no pics at this time

Very early Merc, and I know of only one full set, not for sale of course.

Hey Kube, I keep seeing a place, and I cant even remember its right name, or where it is, but its along the lines of Kubes Welding. Always makes me think of you.

A friend of mine in Florida has a very early production 1939 Mercury Town Sedan, & all of the Hubcaps on his car read "Ford Mercury".
