Default Dennis Carpenter, R.I.P.

Saw on Carpenter's Facebook page that Dennis had passed yesterday. Always enjoyed visiting with him at Hershey. One day he called me at my dealership and we had a great 45 minute conversation. He did a lot for the hobby.

Never did get to meet him at Hersey but I bought many parts from him.
He will be truly missed by all. Heartfelt condolences to his family. Blast

True blue guy. He really liked driving his '36 Phaeton at Charlotte.

Dennis did a lot for the hobby with his repo parts that kept a lot of old Fords on the road. He was a great supporter of the Early Ford V-8 Club and the Early Ford V-8 Foundation. RIP Dennis.

Very sad to hear that Dennis is gone. Met him several times at Hershey. Carpenter's reproduction parts were one of the best, and I always prefer them.

Thank you, Dennis, for all that you did for us and for me personally: your advice and assistance, your kindness and patience will never be forgotten. The signed poster, second row, right side, is framed and hanging in my garage.
God speed Dear Friend; blessings and condolences to the family.

Never met the man, have always heard good things about him . . . and coming from you, I'm sure the perspectives were all ture.

RIP Dennis, thanks for all your contributions and for all you've done for us.

Super guy in all respects. Always came by and chatted at our flea market spaces. Bought and sold lots from him. I used to do all the bearing work on his early poured main bearing engines when they were in the engine selling business. RIP

I used to talk to him on occasion at Autofair in Charlotte and at his business. Fine guy, he will leave a hole in a lot of lives.

Great friend of all. He played toy trains as well. He was a great friend to the old car hobby and to all of us.
