Default Roadster Door Hinge Screws

I need several of the screws that hold the door hinge to the car body. The screws I’ve bought from vendors don’t fit. Does anyone know what size these screws are ? There are three screws on each hinge.

Thanks - Jim

Need to know what year roadster,

1928-1929 roadsters use 1-4-28 for door hinge to cowl

1930-1931 roadsters use 5/16-24 for door hinge to cowl

If you got the screws from a reputable supplier and for the correct year, make sure the holes were not re-tapped for different thread or cross threaded. If you have the old ones that came out, check the thread count.

I just ordered another set of screws. One screw is missing on the lower hinge, and I can’t get the others out. Unfortunately, the lower hinge is loose, so I hope I can tighten it up with a new screw.

Just did the hinges on my 31 Roadster a short time ago. Used some original screws and some new ones from Bratton's and they worked fine. Make sure you use the cup washers and internal lock washers as well.
