Default '34 Steering Wheel for a Model A

It's been a long time since I've posted to the forum. My question is, can I mount a 1934 steering wheel to a 1930 Model A column? Will there be a need for any changes or alterations?

Many thanks for any responses,

Just graft the upper shaft of the 34 onto the lower shaft of the A. Pick out any favorite steering wheel and with a piece of the upper shaft, it can be grafted to any steering column. Stresses on a steering column are minimal compared to those of what is more directly in contact with the road. A piece of heavy walled tubing can be used to strengthen the butt joint.

FWIW, in some jurisdictions that's illegal for a licensed vehicle.
