Btw - very good experince with power master folks - good customer service
Years ago I bought a chrome Powermaster alternator at the NATS in Knoxville. The front bearing quickly went bad so I replaced it. That bearing quickly went bad. I took it back to them in Knoxville the next year and told them the history. They sent it back to me later and I reinstalled it. It quickly ate the front bearing again. I gave up on it AND Powermaster. Never again.

Reddaway trucking lost(misplaced) my $6,000 flathead in Fontana, Cal. it was supposed to be delivered on Dec 4th & they just told me it is in Havasu today & should be delivered. I don't have it as I post this but maybe it might just happen. They been lying to me for 2 days. Not a happy camper right now.

The must is to get hold of the local dispatcher of UPS, FEDEX or USPS as soon as possible so they can contact the delivery person while they can still remember what they did. I have had it happen with all three but FEDEX is the worst. I stopped one of their drivers yesterday to get the local unlisted number. Wife filed a missing item report with them last Friday and we were lucky a neighbor found the pkg. FEDEX did not get back to us till Tues and still had no clue, of course it was the national number that called.

I did alert UPS today. They said driver will come here tomorrow. I agree hope he remembers it where he dropped it off.

FWIW, in my neighborhood stuff gets delivered to the wrong house by every shipping service all the time. It even states it has been delivered. Eventually most of it shows up. Just yesterday USPS delivered to packages to me, one for me and one for the neighbor two doors down. Thank goodness for a neighborhood e-mail list. We learn about all of them.

UPS is running about 2 days behind because they and FedEx are swamped with packages. Here in the Portland Or area, hell they hit in broad day light even with people home. Just had a case were the babysitter put the robber flat on the ground and held her till the cops got there. Best one I have heard, lady put a package on the porch, full of dirty baby diapers. Yup they grabbed it! LOL

Any story on why they were already listed as delivered?

Now for my story. I have meds that require refrigeration. They are shipped Next Day Air by UPS. The last shipment left the supplier on a Thursday and Arrived early Friday. Then a message was posted that the delivery truck had a mechanical problem. Next post was it was out for delivery on an afternoon truck. Then they posted it was delayed a day. Then again out for delivery. Then again delayed. Then posted it would be delivered by the end of the day on Monday. Sure enough, it arrived Monday evening, 4 days on a Next Day Air delivery!

I like UPS and use them a lot, but sometimes it get strange!
