Congrats to all those who have found the strength to change ther lives for the better and definitely the lives of those people around them. Most people don't realize until too late what damage they have done to others. I salute you all !!

My Dear Brother in Christ - Again I salute you, and understand exactly from where you come! After directing the Drug Court (which includes an alcohol component) for the past 16 years, I know that yours is an incredible accomplishment - and now you continue to bring happiness to so many with your ministry with to-die-for dogs! Congratulations!

I started a long winded post about my mom's drinking, but just deleted it it because it was what it was, and after 40 years of sobriety in meetings she just passed in he fall. . I have nothing but good feelings about the programs that helped her pass with nothing but good feelings and love in her wonderful heart.

Congratulations! I hope your words are encouragement to others to seek help. The first step is knowing you have a problem. I saw enough of it at an early age to never touch the stuff.

Congrats Craig, I do work with a fellow that has been sober 3 years now. We were just talking about this a few days ago. It's always in the back of his mind and a daily work, one day at a time, at least it is for him. Congrats again.

Congratulations!

I do something similar with quitting smoking, it helps remind me how far I've come. I have a little computer program that constantly tallies up how I'm doing.

Seventeen years, four months, three days, 3 hours, 49 minutes and 29 seconds. 316657 cigarettes not smoked, saving $139,328.58. Life saved: 3 years, 12 hours, 5 minutes.

Congrats to you and for all others who have done it as well. My neighbor who lives behind me just celebrated 20 some odd years .... he lives company ng over to help out. He used to race 55 Chevies years ago. He jokes around saying that that was what started him drinking!

Here is a pic of me and my friend Lisa. She got presented for 8 years by the police officer who arrested her many times. Just a reminder that not just cars but people can be restored too.

I'm a new guy at the Ford Barn, went back to page 101 and have been reading old posts every day. Just wanted to say I'll be 39 years sober come June if I continue one day at a time.
