Default Bonnie and Clyde movie on TV this Sunday night

This is a two part movie starting this Sunday night, 9:00 pm /8:00 central, on the "Lifetime" channel. I guess part two will be Monday night. Not sure about the channel number(s). Should be a lot of old cars in this movie.

Thanks for the tip.

I taped MobCity on TNT last night. 1940s Los Angeles. Should be some Fords in it.

Saw a nice looking '36 Ford ton and a half truck in a street scene, in a promo . Bonnie and Clyde were killed in May, 1934

Will still be fun to see the old cars they come up with that is why we watch!!

I saw what was purported to be the real Bonnie and Clyde death car at an auto show back in the 70's.

I believe there are many "authentic" Bonnie and Clyde death cars in the US.

The real "authentic" Bonnie and Clyde 1934 Ford DeLuxe Fordor was on display in Nevada for many years. There is only one "authentic" car and a couple of reproductions. I am aware of only two reproductions--one used in the 1967 movie and one made by a guy who tried to reproduce it hole by hole.

MD FIOS has it on Lifetime, A&E and History. Interestingly National Geographic channel is also running a documentary on them. Cashing in on the advertising I guess.

The original sold here in Massachusetts by Kruse Auctioneers, see attached picture. The buyer was Pete Simon a casino owner from Vegas. I was there that day and still have some snap shots of the car some where.
The following link is Pete Simon discussing the car and the purchase on a television program.

Also pictured is Ruth Warren when she got her car back from the authorities.

Just a follow up, don't you think Henry Ford should have sent her a new car with all of the publicity Ford got from Bonnie and Clyde and John Dillinger both writing letters praising the quality of the Ford?

Josh. The movie is to be shown TONIGHT on the History Channel. 9:00 pm, 8:00 PM Central. Don't know when the second part is to be shown, probably tomorrow night, or next Sunday.

That was in the depths of the Great Depression. I would imagine more people were driving Model T's than newer vehicles at the time.

I would think that they would steal a V8 car when ever he had the chance. just to have the newest and the best.
