Flathead Inline 6 Engine Stand?
Hey everyone! I've come back with a question. Anybody know of an engine stand that will hold a flathead inline 6 engine? Or if anyone has blueprints to make one? i dont need it right away but ill be needing something to support it since I'm thinking of doing an engine swap in the old '49 sometime in the spring. Any links or suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Re: Flathead Inline 6 Engine Stand?
I've done three different overhauls using a conventional engine stand. I used the starter/bellhousing plate as a pattern and made a 3/8" thick version to bolt to the block and the engine stand. It is stable and works good. I'll try to remember to take some pictures this weekend and post them Monday.

Re: Flathead Inline 6 Engine Stand?
Used a three-wheeled cheapy for an IHC Green Diamond six once. But before use I made a saddle on the front to make it a four-wheeled affair. I used the standard spider legs on it. The GD had a removable bell. I'm glad I put the extra wheel on it as it would have turned turtle when I rotated the engine.
