Intake and Exhaust manifold nut torque
Well, I watched a You tube video that stated some guys tighten to 25 foot pounds while others go all the way to 60. I checked the torque on mine yesterday and found they were around 25. I upped them to 30. Looked in the Les Andrews book, but didn't find a recommendation.
In the back of the book, it has a torque chart that gives numbers for 7/16 bolts, grade 2, 5, and 8. It lists dry and lubed etc. But, it doesn't say anything about a stud. What say y'all.

Les Andrews book says 45 ft# but I think that is a bit high. I use between 35 and 40.

"good and tight" is about right !! I suspect that about 99.9% of all Model A's lived their first 50 -60 years without ever encountering a torque wrench.
