Default Changing from Positive to Negative ground

I would like to know what is involved in changing a car from positive to negative ground. I think I have a good idea on this but I am guessing there is a list of things that need to happen from the gauges to the generator.

Thanks in advance.

What are you trying to accomplish? I think it involves the coil and ammeter wiring, plus maybe new battery cables. It really is unnecessary though.

If you are still 6 volts leave it alone, you won't gain any benefits. Changing 12 volts is good because you will be compatible with modern electronics. What are you trying to do?

Dang, that is what I thought. I am trying to run some LED bulbs or entire units for the rear taillights. All of the above require Neg. ground.

This may also be helpful.

This is a recent thread and quite thorough. I'd recommend checking that one out if you haven't already.
