Default T98 truck 4 speed transmission question

The T98 4 speed from a 1953 ford truck, is it the same as the one for 48 to 52 ford trucks or is it the same as the ones behind 54 and up Y block motors?

I know 1953 trucks with a V8 had a one year only bellhousing that looks like a Y block bell with mounts

All truck trannies for '53-on have longer input shafts, and lack a rear support. Everything was hung off the bellhousing (which was heavy duty).

Thats what i figured. Thanks for the info. My F2 needs a transmission and would like to upgrade alittle to a T98. The 48 to 52 types are harder to find
