From the headlight it goes through the screw that holds the headlight onto the fender stay/support and then through a hole in the fender support/fender which is where is connects into the main loom which plugs into the light switch.

I don't think my copy and paste worked too good, however, to continue from weemarks reply, the wiring from left to right headlights runs along bottom of radiator [originally there is two clips soldered at seam] above the bottom hoses.
