Default 6V to 12V Flat Head V8 on Flat Head V8

I wish to convert 6 Volt to 12 Volt on My built up Ford Four Deluxe. It runs good, but hard to start when it gets hot after running, and then try to start about 5-10 minutes. Also would like to know how to "time" Crab Distributor?
Thanks!!!!

Mel,
Check your other post.......converting to 12 volts may not be required.

Might try to consolidate you posts, you have 3 threads going on the same or closely related topics. Makes it harder to keep things straight.
