Default F1 truck door check arm

Picked up a pair of reproduction door check arms for my 52 F1 build. What would be the best way to flare the hollow tubular rivet that is included with the kit?

They don't need much help. Believe I used a punch to start it and finished on a flat surface.

As stated, they don't need much, just interference so they don't fall out.
I have done them by squeezing a ball bearing into it to distort it with a pair of vice-grips.
