Default Re: Cornhead grease and steering gear oil.

I did an experiment several years ago by mixing JDCH grease and the gear oil I normally use in the transmission and rear of my '35 fordor. It did initially mix well, and this mix did not separate during the time I kept it in a small jar on my work bench, probably a couple months. I did this experiment when I started using JDCHG in my steering box because I knew I could not drain all the existing oil out of the box.

I put semi fluid grease in my steering box and it was like having power steering, way better than oil, also my headers wrap around both sides of the steering box for max heat.
