Richmond was a kind and knowledgeable Model A man, a real asset to the hobby.
I bought numerous parts from him in the last 10-15 years, all were exactly as described and fairly priced.
He was also an avid vintage license plate collector.

Sad to hear about his passing. Over the years bought many parts from him all at fair prices. When I bought my first part years ago and he saw my address he asked if I knew anything about Bedford Va. and the story of the Bedford Boys. I had met a few of them and helped with the D Day Memorial dedication, that started a long friendship. Rest in Peace Soldier

Wow, to think he was born before the Model A.

By all accounts he lived a full life, and had an effect on thousands of people’s lives thru his passion for our hobby. I’ll definitely be raising a glass for him.

We grow too soon old and too late smart.

He verified the first, but was a walking rebuttal to the second.

At age 25 when I lived in Sandwich, I would get on my bike and ride all the way out to Wellfleet. I would surprise him in his shop because parking was limited - and he hadn't heard a car pull up.

Happy Model A'ing up there Rich. It was a pleasure doing business with you.
