Hi Lawrie, great video, are you getting ready for the nostalgias next week at willobank, is that Benaraby track & is it a 1/4 mile. 9.45 is a good time, last time I saw you at nostalgias I think you were running somewhere in the 10s. John

John, we will not be at willowbank, we are spoilt by having our track(benaraby) just 30 klms from home, our track is the 1/4 mile,a great track,we spent about $500k in the last two years .
Wayno, we are not coming to the USA this year ,but will be next year ,for the V8 meet in Getysberg and other places.
Have fun and go fast at bonneville and keep us posted.

Lawrie, you guys will be missed. I guess you're saving it up for the 100th anniversary of record setting at Bonneville, huh? Give a big smooch to Carol for me. Wayno

Very nice run. Thought you guys might like a ride in my Flathead powered gas burning blown Lakester this run is from a standing start. Turned 172.6 MPH in one mile not bad for 295 cubes fastest pass to date on the East Coast.
Im trying to get a measage to Haydn Mitchell in NZ would anyone know how to contact him?

Wink Re: dragster video

Heres a video of the car drivng on the street this will give you an idea of what she looks like. The body is an original fuel drop tank from 1944 used under the Navy Bearcat fighter. The second video shows whats under the body.
