Quadricycle plans
George De Angelis used to have a web site and plans for sale. Anyone know where plans can be had now?

Re: Quadricycle plans
Hi Mike
I too would like a set if you find out let me know too. I use to talk to George about twice a year but have not been in contact for serveral years. He is an awsome person and a wealth of knowlege. I do have his home phone some where yet I know his age is getting up there and don't know how much longer he will be here. Hopefully he is living yet? Bill Stipe

Re: Quadricycle plans
I purchased a set of plans from George and am in the process of building one. I started a website to post information to help folks like us. http://quadricycle.info
There are a couple of other fellows with quad projects. George DeAngelis does not have a website but did take my phone call. I found his phone number by using the internet. Feel free to contact me at dave at dunlavy.us |

Re: Quadricycle plans
Dave,
I just signed up yesterday and I see your post was your first post also. I had posted before when I was still using my work computer but after retiring and moving to Helena, it was easier to start over, so this is my first post here. Thanks again for letting me drive your Model F and Model S last fall with Roger. You will need to post photos of your Model T Center Door. And your Quadricycle progress! Gary Y. |

Re: Quadricycle plans
Dave,
Are the plans you have detailed enough to build the engine? Could you provide contact info for the plans? I am interested in building an engine. I would also consider building an engine for someone that is building the Quadricyle. |

HI Mike, Should be no problem getting Georges plans, if he is still well. His address is 10405 S. Rushton RD, South Lyon, MI 48178-7048 – phone 248-437-0375. ... he is still furnishing sets at $150, .... There are 70 detailed drawings, 5 larger drawings (C size) and 6 large drawings “D” size. Well worth the cost, in my opinion. I am still working on my Model F Ford and have several events that I will be taking it to this year. I hope to be full time on the Quad next year. Largest problem is tires – and I want to have them be the correct size. Please do me a favor and let me know what you do with this information, i.e. if you purchase plans or what. I’d like to have the names of those who show lots of interest. Regards, Dave

Re: Quadricycle plans
I sent a check to George this morning. I'm looking forward to building a Quad engine. I am in the process of building a hit n miss engine at this time. It should be running in a week or two.

Re: Quadricycle plans
Unfortunately, Mr. DeAngeliss is no longer with us. Does anyone know if his plans are still available from his family, or does anyone have a set they would like to sell? I built a Quadricycle years ago from pictures I took of the original in the Henry Ford Muesum, and I'd like to do another from George's blueprints. The one I built is in the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville. I never should have sold it, but I have the time to do another one.

Re: Quadricycle plans
I just bumped into this;
Quadricycle+plans+explanation.pdf But I see nothing about the purchase of the plans, I now have money and access to machinery so please drop me a private message if you find they are still available.
