Installed a new set of S/W gauges in my Av8 build but need info. on speedometer cable installation. Did a Google search and drew blanks.
Top loader trans from a 36 standard Wings gauges. Any thought or input? Prefer not to use electronic speedometer. Appreciate any help

What rear-end are you using and tranny??

This isn't helping you, but I got tired of fighting the speedometer problems on early Fords so on cars converted to 12 volt and using aftermarket electric gauges I have went to GPS sending units. I install then so only the sharpest eye will spot the sender. Not very old timey but they are super accurate and work great.
