RayTec heat gun thermometer
Taking head temperatures on the 36 roadster I have been working on this past week I had a few problems with the readings. The red laser light ALWAYS worked but the display wouldn't always work and sometimes the readings came on after releasing the trigger. Yesterday the red light still worked but no display at all. Pulled the 9 volt battery and it only had 8.5 volts. Put a new battery in and it now has the temperature display working ALL the time. G.M.

Re: RayTec heat gun thermometer
GM, too much heat in the garage to work properly!!, must have killed the battery. it is 31 here in upstate SC, with some sort of crud heading our way--rain-sleet-freezing rain-maybe even snow, going to the garage and turn on the heat

I came by my office in the condo while out in the 36 roadster to check the computer and it's about 75 now looking out over Charlotte Harbor there's about 40 sail boats out there in a race. Your not the only one having to tuff it out. G.M.
