Rear bumper cross brace bolt length
Did Ford or aftermarket make different types of rear bumper cross braces? I know that two different types were made for '28-'29 and I am pretty sure that the one I have looks like the '30-'31 type I need. I ask this because I got the 7/16" fine thread bolts today and only two of the four are long enough at 1 1/2"long but the other two need at least a 2" long bolt.In other words the cross brace I have on my '31 has two holes that require the shorter bolts and two that require 2" long and Brattons sent me all four dome head bolts that are 1 1/2" long .So I either have an incorrect bumper brace or incorrect bolt length.

Re: Rear bumper cross brace bolt length
I think I figured out the problem late '31 rear brace, they sell the bolts for early '31 not late.I need an early brace I guess or longer bolts.
