Default Rotate Non Radial Tires

Your collective opinions please? I just finished installing new king pins and aligning the front end.

I'm assuming that to equal out the ware on the treaded tires of my "A" I need to 'X' them like in the good old days before 'front to back~same side' radials?

So left front to right rear and right front to left rear? I only have one spare on the stern so I'm not introducing that into the mix.

skip.

Sounds good to me.

I can break in that new front end for you. The temporary one I'm using is pretty sloppy.

The guys at Kelsey (Goodyear WW's) advocated rears to the front without switching sides, fronts to the rear with a side swap. Every 1000 miles or less. In 4,000 miles you get all of the stresses on each carcass.

Now that you have eliminated any problems with new kingpins, it is essential that you correct toe-in. Ford specs call for 3/32 +- 1/16 (hope that I didn't mix the numbers up; verify in the service bulletins. Make sure that you get the latest out of the Service Bulletins as the earlier spec was had more toe-in and that was reduced by Ford.
