Shifter Spring and Rotation?
Brian T's shifter spring question reminds me...
--> Is it true that the shifter itself can be pulled up against the spring and rotated [180 deg? or 90 deg?] and let back down for additional passenger room with three people in the front? So that puts the stick facing foward or to the side? I heard that from a guy who has owned his 1929 Roadster since 1931. He bought it as a kid. So that's 79 years. Here is his car. He and his girlfriend [his wife passes away] just motored out and back from Sturgeon Bay to Wisconsin Rapids. The car has an overdrive in it. I guess he does too. skip. |
