Default 56 T Bird horn blows

When turning a corner the horn blows! I replaced the entire horn wire through the shaft. Determined that the relay is not doing it. How is that damn switch getting ground?

Probably the foam rubber insulator pad under the horn button has developed a bare spot. It's pretty easy to replace. You can make one yourself.

I have just the opposite problem. My horn will only blow when I push it at the lower right had corner of my 53' Merc.

Seems to be fixed...for now.... I removed the screws that hold the emblem in the center of the horn ring. The rubber, two piece "donut" was removed and turned it around so the top piece was now the bottom piece. No doubt the rubber piece will eventually need to be replaced. I'll take luck over skill any day!
