Default Column shift arm removal 1941

All,

Can someone walk me through the steps to remove and refit the steering column gear selector arm (P/N 7202) on my 41?

I'd also like to replace the rubber sleeve.

Is it simply a matter of removing the retaining pin, or does it require additional steps?

Any assistance appreciated.

Tap the pin on both side and lube it up. They stick over time and some you got to work it back and forth s few times with a punch. After it moves in with little effort, you have to hold both sides in at the same time while wiggling and pulling the lever at the same time.

There is a spring and two steel cups in there so be careful when pulling it apart. They can come flying out and hit you or go places where you can't find them.
