Default oil slinger

I am cofused on the location and installation of the oil slinger. HELP!!
The mechanics Handbook is no help

Are you referring to the oil slinger on the rear main bearing? No installation, it is part of the crankshaft.

Goes on in front of cam gear

If it is the one in the front it goes between the gear that drives the camshaft and the pulley with the concave side towards the front.
