Default FoMoCo's Model A Museum donation...

Just how much has the FoMoCo donated to the building of the Model A Ford Museum, if any, or is that privileged information?

Thanks,

Pluck

I would have to think you would have to ask MAFFI as they are the ones that receive the funds.

I would be surprised if Ford has donated anything. Maybe we should tweet the CEO, he seems to have a better business sence than the last one. He had the foresight to gamble the blue oval as colateral, secured the needed financing before all hell broke loose with the economy. My only reservation would be they might want to have too much control.

Steve;
I spent some time with an individual very involved with MAFFI fund raising while on the Natchez Trace tour in April. At that time FoMoCo or the Foundation had not committed to release any funding. I was told that the Foundation got stung donating money to another group ( no names here ) that pi--ed away the money before they had a plan, location or business plan. MAFFI is doing their best to prove themselves as a legitimate organization, I am confident that the Foundation will realize soon that they are very real and competent.

Jeff I never said FOMOCO was not generous, I need not do any Homework! In this economy, FOMOCO is going to concentrate more on their business than in charitable contibutions. Don't be so high and mighty about what they have donated compared to others, It is solely used as a tax shelter, and any publisicty tied with it a plus.

Your next to last statement is my point, "Just because you are running a business doesn't mean that you HAVE to open up your checkbook for every sad sack knocking on your door". Your points are conflicting.

And I do run my own business, 11 years strong, I find rarely "give us some money" people driving me crazy, its all the people who want something for nothing......
