Scammers are out in force

No email or related data to share other than he was trolling the want ads

and what did he do that made you suggest he is a scammer?

Person responded to my ad for a Model A Intake flange.
Sent a picture of a v8 racing intake w/a description that was way off base, even for the picture.

People trolling the wanted ads are a notorious hunting ground for scammers. We have caught out as number of them by doing a reverse search on the image they sent of the item. Often times, they have taken the image from the web somewhere and a reverse search will find the image they used. I get rid of them by unloading on them and sending a link to the image they used. Never heard back from one after that.

When we did for the first time, we had no idea either - only that it could be done somehow. A search of google gave us the answer. Try this:

Alas, I use Microsoft Edge for my sins and not the various other browsers listed.

It works with Edge. Google just doesn't want to promote it.
