1951-52 Hood Safety latch

Id it possible that some one that ones a 1951-52 ford pickup could take a photo showing the safety latch coming through the bottom of the hood and also a shot showing how the safety latch is either bolted or bonded to the opposite side I cannot tell how to mount this Many thanks Tom
