I know this is late but,
I tried a big 3 jaw puller, a puller that hooks to the studs...none worked at all, even with heat and letting it sit for a day under pressure. I bought the KR Wilson tool and "pop" came right off. |

Well, we have convinced one more "believer". These KR WILSON type tools work because of the direction and placement of the pull. Ya can't beat what works. DD

I know this is stating the obvious, but you can't beat a tool that was made specifically for the job!!!! And, I've not found any other use for the tool, but "at this point, what does it matter!!"

The one on the left probably ruined you drum by warping it.
