Pulling the 41 woodie out of storage
Well, I let the 41 sit for 2+ years without starting and left alcohol gas in the tank. So pulled the tank and carb for cleaning. Float valve was stuck and jets clogged. Soaking the tank with Rust 911 and perhaps ospho. Alcohol free gas from now on! Checking out my wiring job. I have a cool turn signal switch that cancels itself by time. Suspends timeout when brake is applied as well. In the mean time I went thru 5 other collector cars. The big hole in my gas tank is for an in tank electric fuel pump. Planning on putting an EFI on the flathead.

Re: Pulling the 41 woodie out of storage
You have some cool stuff going on there! I love the turn signal switch and the inside of that gas tank looks clean and promising. Keep us in the loop as you convert to fuel injection. It has become a very popular upgrade with the early landcruiser guys. They seem to like a 'Holley Sniper' set up. Do they make one for our V8s?
