Fast Fords at Dragway 42 this weekend!

This weekend at the Dragway 42 in West Salem, Ohio, there is an event entitled "Fast Fords" that will begin on Friday evening with Test and Tune, then racing on Saturday and Sunday. There is a small swap meet and a car show taking place as well at the facility (the track property is quite large).

If you want more information just shoot me an email at [email protected]. While I am not in charge of the event, one of my neighbors around the block has financed this and put it all together. I am only provided printed programs and holding a church service on Sunday morning at 8:15 am.

The Hot Rod Reverend will be in action - join us if you can.

Reminds me of a few years ago. There is a little private 1/8 mile dragstrip a little ways from me called Pacemakers. They inivited the vintage Ford Club up for a cruise in at the drags. FDord was the featured mark for the event. Was nice time. Very casual. I had forgotten how much I missed going to the drags, to see a little friendly bracket racing. I took my 57 Skyliner, so it was nice to get it out of the garage. (Much to heavy to drag race - LOL).
