Default 1931 Roadster Pickup Question

Several years ago I purchased a nice 1931 Roadster Pickup in Ebay that the owner said it was restored. Neadless to say years later I am correcting many projects. My current project is the windshield including stanchions and repainting the windshield frame.

My first question: My windshield did not have a lower weatherstripping. Parts of the old weatherstripping was left in the slot and the person painted over it. I have removed the remaining portions left in the slot but now I noticed the lower slot for the weatherstripping is interrepted in the middle with a 3 inch area with no slot. I would think this can let water in if it rains. Is this correct for a 31 Roadster Pickup windshield?

Second Question:
Does any person out there have a diagram of the correct parts where the stanchion connects to the windshield.

As always THANKS FOR YOUR HELP!

All I’ve seen have the continuous slot. Likely a repaired or repop frame
Btw they are exactly watertight with a full gasket
Oops make that NOT exactly watertight

I agree that the windshield I have on the "fully restored" vehicle is from another vehicle. I noticed that without the weatherstripping it was scratching the paint.

The link shows a 1932 frame but it gives you an idea of the parts.
