Default Car-cheology: Gary Sheet?

In stripping the inner fender panels on my '35 5W, I spotted this logo etched into the metal. It says GARY SHEET, but there may be more as it looks the logo could be circular. Was Gary Sheet Metal a vendor to Ford? I've no reason to believe these are reproduction parts. My car is a very early '35, with a Canadian VIN.

I'd found something similar when stripping a '38 Buick I'd restored a few years ago.
My guess? It was the steel supplier's mark.

I found this stamp on the edge of the cowl on my '35. Guessing "Briggs Manufacturing Co"; but then I've seen pictures of '35 bodies being built in the TC Ford plant.

At some point Henry Ford made his own steel.

Probably from one of the steel mills in Gary, Indiana.

"The Gary Works is a major steel mill in Gary, Indiana, on the shore of Lake Michigan. For many years, the Gary Works was the world's largest steel mill, and it remains the largest integrated mill in North America. It is operated by the United States Steel Corporation."

I hauled steel out of there in the early 80's when I was a big shot truck driver. It was known as "steel city", which it literally was. A gigantic facility, its own town for workers and family's. I would imagine its quite depressing today

Thanks! I figured there'd be a story behind this.

Here's another Wikipedia tidbit that might have put them on Ford's radar. "The Gary Works was under construction from 1906 to 1908, and the first shipment of iron ore was unloaded on June 23, 1908." Didn't Old Henry having some things going on around that time frame that they needed materials for?
