Default Crusty Flatty Flat Out at Prescott Hill Climb. OMG will she blow? 33 coupe at GOW!

Remember the Crusty Flatty? remember how sketchy it was? If not check the videos. Well The VHRA run the GOW! event at Prescott hill climb track every year and I entered the 33 coupe. Watch, listen and follow along as the Crusty Flatty takes on the venerable hill at Prescott, home of the Bugatti owner's club.
Caution this video contains scenes of a flathead enduring considerable distress.
Back to the regular programme next time.
Mart.

Great video Mart! Amazing how well the old flattie performs considering it's crusty beginnings. How long is that course that it took you 1:10 to cover? Mostly in second gear and sounded like you left some tire rubber on the curves.

Thanks Fellas.

1187 yards according to this map.

You can now identify the bends in the video.

Good job of creating the video, and good job of driving the winding coarse.
You had the old '33 working pretty hard there.

Thanks for the replies fellas. This video nearly never happened. I was transferring the files from the sd card to the computer and something went wrong during the transfer. All the files got corrupted. Then in an attempt to recover them by running scripts picked up off the internet they disappeared completely. I downloaded some recovery software and tried it on one file, that was all you could do for free. It didn't work. I then found one that had good reviews and paid for it. That one worked and recovered all the files on the card, even those that were there before but had been "deleted".
I then started having problems with the editing software where the files were supposed to be, like, 14 minutes long, and were showing as 22 hours long with the rest being blank. The length of the files slowed everything to a standstill.
This took ages to sort out by various workarounds and updating softwares etc.

But it was all worth it in the end. The views on this one have been much higher than normal, over 1000 views in 24 hours. Personally it's one of my favourites. Something must have clicked with YouTube's algorithms, most of the views have been from browsing rather than links from forums.

Again, thanks for the support. It's not easy putting these videos together and sometimes it's a lot more difficult than normal, so a little thumbs up or words of encouragement go a long way.

Mart.

Yes, one of your best yet I'd say. And I know how frustrating it is doing a lot of video editing only to lose it or files become unusable. Glad you were able to save this one.

Good save on your files!

What a stellar Billet-Proof event! Best and biggest(?) group of
traditional cars I've seen! A welcome change for these old
eyes.

Mart, that was very entertaining and well done. You drove that coupe like a madman and then twice more! Any doubts as to the soundness of the lower end should be at least lessened,HA!

Very good driving job...bit of Jeckyll/Hyde there, sir. Well done.

Mart, A great video and thanks for the ride really enjoyed it and your presentation gave a very good overview of the event.
Thats the best part out driving them. Fixing and tinkering good but the driving really does it for me.
