Default Electric Windshield Wiper

I am looking a modern electric windshield wiper with a shaft long enough to fit through the header of a slant windshield car. Has anyone out there done this? I will appreciate recommendations for a specific wiper.

Some people have used a wiper motor off foreign cars (I don't know which but remember someone posting here years ago with a recomendation).
Problem with some of them is you can't open the windshield.

Bob,

I just finished the installation of a modern electric motor through the header on the 30 Tudor I have in the shop. There should be plenty of room to do it on a slant window car as well. Call me or stop by the shop to have a look. I can get the motor for you.

Check out what Newport Wipers has to offer. I have one of their units in my truck. Works great.
