repairing running board hole help
I had a hole in my rubber on the running board. I repaired the hole with JB Weld.
Does anyone know of a brush-on or spray that will make the JB rubberized like the running board, and look smooth? I would go over the entire running board with it. |

Re: repairing running board hole help
First, the JB was not a good choice. Since its already there, you can conceal it with the rubber dip material available in cans in hardware and automotive stores. The stuff marketed as a rubber handle coating on pliers and such. Repeated coates will fill any void and turn flat black when cured. Do NOT attempt to cover the whole board.
I love the stuff. You will find many applications for it. I use it on the tailgate latch of my 29PU. Stops any rattles and protects the paint. |
