Re: Misery loves company
And let's not forget 14mm and 9/16" - exact swap. Funny, My metric wrenching has primarily been toyotas, so I never got to experience most of these. Yes, some 8mm, but 10, 12, 14, no 15s or 16s, lots of 17s. And let's not rule out the adjustables and vice grips.

Re: Misery loves company
So after my dad passed in 99 I picked up my grandfathers toolbox. It was a wood box 3'x3'x5' he made. In it, was a lot of different tools. Taps, square nails, wrenches, and a few odd car parts.
One day around late 2000s I decided I needed a Model A. I picked up a 28 model a, site unseen. It was a chopped 4 banger with mech brakes. It was not well advertised. . ...Well one of the things it needed was the gas cap. It was all jacked up with drill holes through the cap. (venting? ya no idea). The Odd thing was there as a very nice cap in the old toolbox. So was it meant to be? Did I get the cap first and then found the car for it? if you don't understand how this story relates to the title. Well... I Sold the car later, But it was a lot of fun for a while anyways. |

Re: Misery loves company
I don't wear my prescription glasses very often, so when I found them the last time, I put them in a special place so I wouldn't lose them again. I am trying to remember now where that special place was. No, they are not on my head.
