Yes, 404a , 425 and a schneider cam.

404a works best, with wide powerband, but is alot of work to set up.

I havent used a 1007b or L100 in a big motor , but i think it will work as good
In a street engine ( around 4000 -4500 rpm) without all the hassle with big valves , porting
And drivetrain setup (spring preassure, valve grinding,etc)

Flathead engines are torque engine , not rev monsters.

I have an L-100 in a 296 I built 15 years ago, Driven on the street in front of a C4 got great mileage on the road. Owner was pleased with the preformance.

No, the 404-A is a radius cam, the 425 is a Potvin Eliminator (flat tappet) and the Schneider - who knows, but probably flat tappet.
