Default Proper wiring for ignition coil

Been too long since I played with an A ignition - need assistance. Repro ignition switch - 2 terminal - one goes to coil (red) other is sheathed and goes to distributor. Short black wire from terminal block to coil - Question: which side of coil do these wire go ? The coil is "hot" with the key off ????
Any help would be greatly appreciated !

Black wire from drivers side of terminal block to neg. of coil, Sheathed wire from dist. to one side of switch, from the other switch terminal run your red wire to the passenger side of the coil, should be +.

And, yes. the coil is wired hot 24/7. That is the way a Model A is wired and it works fine.
