1949 or 1950 wheels
Does anyone know the spec. on a 1949 or 1950 car wheel. I know they were 15, 5 0n 4.5, but dont how wide are and what the back spacing was. Thanks , Mike

Re: 1949 or 1950 wheels
They are 15" x 5", 5 lug x 4.5" pattern, Ford part #8A-1015D and Kelsey-Hayes #31509. It is shown to have .620" of positive offset and has what K-H called an "RB" center which has the "outie" hub cap nubs. That offset figure calculates out to 3.12" of backspacing. Stu

Did any of those cars have 16" wheels? I've seen some advertised, claimed they were for those year cars.

I think the '49 deluxe might have had 16" wheels.

Re: 1949 or 1950 wheels
Yes. Listed for station wagons during '49 to '51, but certainly available for any model, was a 16" x 4.5" having the 5 x 4.5" pattern. Ford part #8A 1015C, K-H #31369. This is then also listed for passenger cars starting in '52. Stu
