has any one ever made the wire for the headliner on the sides before the wood slats on any other ideas on a 35 ford 5 window

I had to make up some that I misplaced during resto. heavy wire with a loop for a sheet metal screw. bent in an appropriate curve

Photo attached shows the wire from the side of the car to the wood bow.

Does any one know what size is the rods made of for the wood sides short rods
