Default Carburetor Choke Shaft

I am new to the Model A world. I decided to tackle rebuilding my Zenith carburetor. I think I did a good job at it except the carburetor choke shaft broke when I was putting the choke arm nut on. I have ordered parts and awaiting their arrival. I haven’t tried taking it apart yet again.

My question is this: Will the choke shaft remove easily once I remove the choke plate? Or will it need some muscle or special tool to remove it?

Thanks in advance.
