Was there a frame style between the passenger car/ pickup and the AA frame?

What I ment was there like a 1/2 ton or stretched frame between the regular frame and the AA frame?

A friend of mine, has a 31 ccpu original flatbed. The frame is factory extended. But it is not an AA. I'm not sure what model it was called. It was originally used for hauling furniture. Jeff
