Pasadena Tour
Do any of you Model A folks on Southern California know if and when the annual tour is or was this year? I thought it was the last Sunday of the year, but could not find any info, did not hear anything last weekend.

Re: Pasadena Tour
On a side note, that tour is definitely on my bucket list!! Even the 4,000 mile round trip seems worth the time spent for me just traveling to and from the excursion!

Would pictures of any specific cars help you change from "bucket list" to "things to do next year"? Unless it is raining hard I plan to be there with a camera. Same question for anyone else? Generalities are not needed, I will photograph everything that I think is interesting. Charlie Stephens |

At 4000 miles it is a good thing you missed it this year. The drizzle and threat of rain cut the size of the event about 50% based on my observation, not on data. I am about 40 miles away, went, and enjoyed it very much and plan on going again next year. Attached are a few pictures. Charlie Stephens Last edited by Charlie Stephens; 12-31-2016 at 09:23 PM. |

Re: Pasadena Tour
I would of driven my car there, but I don't drive it in the rain. Some people do, some people don't.

Re: Pasadena Tour
I drove my Vicky. Left Altadena at 8:00 AM (about 20 min. from the start) ,
Looked at all the cars and visited with friends, no rain. left about 10:30 and came home. still no rain. It started to rain in the early afternoon. I feel we really lucked out. Great bunch of cars and a much better location for the start than in past years. Chris W. Last edited by CWPASADENA; 12-31-2016 at 10:44 PM. Reason: TYPO |

Re: Pasadena Tour
Unfortunately, I had to work.
Was Jay Leno there? If so, what car did he bring? Also, where did the tour go? Thanks, Neil |

Re: Pasadena Tour
Jay Leno was not at the event. I live 25 miles east of where it was held rained all the way there. It started to drizzle as the cars left for the tour, it was in the 50's have to admire the folks driving in their open cars. I agree about half the cars as normal, still don.
