Question Windshield Frame

I am installing a new windshield frame on my 1929 Phaeton and I need to drill the holes for the roof snaps. Does anyone have the layout dimensions for the 6 holes? How many inches from the left corner and then all the way across. I can't install my new roof until I get the snaps installed. Any problems in using the snaps with 10-32 screws in them?

Same here. The existing frame is not correct (oval and chromed). It has snaps, but I want to make sure the new frame is correctly done. The new roof will come after.

Any help with measurements??

I guess I missed reading the first post asking for this. While I have the dimensions taken from the print, it should be noted that most top kit manufacturers want those dimensions before they sew a top. If you already have a top, then you will want to use your existing flap snaps to locate the snaps for the windshield frame.

I have included a PDF that shows the correct location.

Thanks, Brent!

My top is shot and the windshield is not right, so I've got a new blank steel frame. Your measurements are a great help.

Question: This shows a hole for the wiper. I have posted a query about the authenticity of the Trico vacuum wiper that came on my '29 Phaeton - it was clipped the frame with no holes.

Would an authentic mounting of the wiper been with clips and one hole for the wiper?

Best,
Tom
