Default Removing clock hands & winding knob?

Sponsored Links (Register now to hide all advertisements)
Hi,

I have once again fixed my 1940 glove box clock but am thinking about converting another spare to battery operated. This site has many options and the cost is good.

I've searched here and on Google but can't find any tips about removing the hands or the winding knob. I think hot water is used to heat the knob for removal. Any tips to share?
